Boathotel is located in the bubbly East on the border of the city center. Although the city centre is in walking distance it is nice to explore the East too. Some highlights on your doorstep are the Javastraat (shopping, eating, drinking), the famous Dappermarket, the World Museum, IJ-beerbrewery, Oosterpark and Artis Zoo. The East is an upcoming area famous for its diversity, coolness, local vibe, affordability, parks and water.

It is really easy to get around from the Boathotel. There is a tramstop accross from the boat for easy access to the heart of city centre (12 minutes). Another tramstop can be found next to the windmill at the end of the street. Bus 22 which stop around the corner brings you to central station in 10 minutes. You can also rent bikes at the Boathotel for only € 7,50 per bike per day. Walking is a great option too! 30 minutes to the heart of the city!
